Les Hommes Publics #16 – Marcin Rusak cover
On Les Hommes Publics, time stands still, as it does in the work of Marcin Rusak. Working from his studio in Warsaw, the Polish designer creates objects, furniture, lamps, and sculptures whose beauty is inseparable from their decay. His best-known pieces encase flowers and herbs in transparent resins, capturing them not at the height of their splendor but in the slow process of deterioration, a form of botanical taxidermy that neither kills nor truly arrests the course of time. This issue features Forum Florum: Herbarium of the Present, the installation Rusak presented during Fuorisalone 2026 in Milan, a meditation on transience, organic matter, and memory. For the first time in the history of Les Hommes Publics, we dedicate our cover not to a man but to his work, a truly special limited edition for our most devoted collectors. Because in the end, beauty asks for time.
